Document Upload (PDF, Word .docx)

With TOBY, you can upload existing flyers, menus, price lists, or brochures directly. TOBY automatically reads and extracts the content, turning it into professional web pages without you having to retype a single thing.

How the Upload Works

To upload a document, simply click the paperclip icon in the chat window, or drag and drop the file directly into the chat.

Supported Formats

  • Word Documents (.docx): Ideal for structured text, price lists, service descriptions, or drafts.
  • PDF Files (.pdf): Perfect for fully formatted menus, brochures, or flyers.

What TOBY Does With Your Documents

Automatic Structuring

TOBY analyzes your document’s text and formats it directly into clean Markdown with appropriate headings, lists, and tables. It will automatically suggest a logical page structure (for example, creating a dedicated page for your menu).

📸 Import Images (PDF only)

For PDF documents, TOBY extracts all embedded photos and graphics in the background. These are saved to your upload library immediately and are ready to be placed in galleries or sections on your site.

🏷️ Extract Logos (PDF only)

If your PDF contains a company logo, TOBY automatically detects and crops it so it can be set as the official logo in your website’s header.

Tips for Best Results

  1. Clear Structure: The more structured your document is (such as clear headings for menu categories like “Pizze” or “Pasta”), the more accurate your generated pages will be.
  2. Include Prices: If your document contains prices, TOBY automatically associates them with the respective products or services.
  3. Offer a PDF Download: If you’d like, TOBY can also add a direct download link to the original PDF file so your visitors can easily download your menu or brochure.
