Editing your site by chat

All content on your site can be changed simply by describing what you need.

Pages

  • Rewrite or create pages. Describe what needs changing — the text, a new section, or a brand-new page — and TOBY writes it for you. If a page doesn’t exist yet (e.g., “Add a Careers page”), it’s created instantly.
  • Delete pages if you don’t need them anymore. (Your homepage cannot be deleted.)
  • Ask about existing content. “What pages do I have?” or “Show the About page” jumps the live preview to that spot without changing a thing.
  • Make multiple changes at once — edit several pages, delete a page, and update your site settings, all in one message.
  • TOBY tidies up for you. Once a topic has enough content (a full menu, a list of services, a gallery), it gets its own page rather than being stuffed into the homepage.

Sections you can ask for

Besides plain text, you can ask TOBY to add:

  • FAQs with expandable question/answer pairs.
  • Callouts for announcements, offers, or opening hours.
  • Galleries of photos that can swipe.
  • Columns to show content side-by-side.
  • Maps with navigation buttons.
  • Embedded YouTube videos.
  • Status badges.
  • Single photos with captions.
  • Contact forms or order forms.

Appearance & style

Ask TOBY to change your brand name, primary and secondary colors, corner roundness, footer text, or overall font theme — and add, remove, or reorder the links in your nav menu, including dropdowns.

Time-aware writing

Tell TOBY “We’re closed next Tuesday” or “Back in two weeks,” and it calculates the exact date and writes it on the page. Anything urgent — closures, events, changed hours — is automatically placed at the very top of the page so visitors see it first.

Undo, redo & safety

  • “Undo that,” “Go back to yesterday’s version,” “Restore the newer version” — these natural language instructions all work.
  • Every change you make first shows in a private preview. Your public site is never touched until you publish.
  • Content is never permanently lost. Every historical version of your site is kept, so anything you undo can always be restored later.
